Join Us for the Deer and Turkey Outdoor Show!

Get ready for a day dedicated to the great outdoors! Join us on March 14th at the Milton R. Owen Nature Center, located just west of Osage, Iowa (1879-3 Hwy #9). Doors open at 9:00 AM for a full day of family-friendly fun, conservation, and community.

Full Schedule of Events:

• Archery Contest: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Kids’ Shed Antler Hunts: 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM
• Taxidermy Demonstration: 11:00 AM
• Hide & Seek Deer Recovery: Blood-tracking dog demo at 1:30 PM
• Raffle Drawing: 3:30 PM (Event ends at 4:00 PM)

Exhibits and Activities:

Explore a wide variety of outdoor-related vendors showcasing the latest gear and conservation efforts. We will also have official scorers on-site for deer mounts. If you have wildlife mounts at home, bring them in! Any type of mount displayed will earn you a raffle ticket and a chance to win prizes.

Food and Prizes:

Come hungry! A food truck will be on-site from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We have tons of raffle prizes and silent auction items available for all ages. Best of all, you do not need to be present to win.

Come early and stay long for a great day at the Nature Center. We can’t wait to see you there
