Deer and Turkey Outdoor Show

Join us for the Deer and Turkey Outdoor Show at the Milton R. Owen Nature Center in Osage, Iowa, on March 16th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm! Get ready for a day filled with exciting activities and valuable information about the great outdoors.

Youth Shed Hunt: Let your little ones participate in a fun shed hunting activity and learn about the tracks and signs left behind by deer. Find deer antler sheds and receive a prize 10 am and 1pm

Archery Shoot (Bows Provided): Test your archery skills and aim for the bullseye. Bows will be provided, so bring your enthusiasm and compete with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Prizes awarded. 3 different classes age 18 and up 13-17 and 0-12 runs from 9-3pm $5 for 3 arrows shoot as many times as you would like.

Antler Toss Game: Show off your strength and accuracy by participating in our antler toss game. Prizes await those who can hit the mark!

Wild Game Displays: Share your trophy animal mounts and let others admire your achievements. We’ll have a display area to showcase these incredible additions to your collection. All taxidermy mounts welcome, deer mounts official scored, anyone who brings and mount or display gets 3 free raffle tickets.

 Falconer Demonstrations: Witness the breathtaking agility of falcons in our thrilling demonstrations by expert falconers. Time 11am and 2pm.  Falcon will also be on display durning rest of show. Come watch the live demo.

 Food Truck: Take a break and recharge with delicious food from our selection of food truck, serving up mouthwatering treats all day long.  Severing breakfast and lunch. Who doesn’t love a good food truck. Time 9-4pm

 Wildlife Biologists: Engage with wildlife biologists and gain insights into wildlife behavior, conservation efforts, and tips for a successful hunting season. 9-4pm

 Outdoor Retailers Vendors: Browse through a variety of vendors offering outdoor gear, equipment, and accessories. Discover the latest products from trusted brands in the industry. Time 9-4pm

Trail Camera Photo Gallery: Be captivated by the stunning wildlife captured on trail cameras. Watch in amazement as nature’s beauty unfolds before your eyes. See the animals people get on their trail camera pictures.

 Raffles for Hunting and Outdoor Gear: Don’t miss your chance to win fantastic prizes in our raffle draws. Take home some top-notch hunting and outdoor gear to elevate your adventures.
