Build-Your-Own Birdfeeder

Winter blues got you down? How about adding some “wild color” into your life by feeding wintertime birds! Join Mitchell County Conservation Naturalist, Chelsea Ewen Rowcliffe for a fun morning learning about winter birding. This free program will be offered Saturday, February 3rd from 10 AM -Noon at the Milton R. Owen Nature Center. This program is part of the “Building Better Birders” workshop and a continuation of a morning presentation on Common Feeder Birds. Participants will learn about winter bird feeding, what species are visiting feeders, and how to attract the most birds to your backyard. We will also be making bird feeders to take home.
